Giving Thanks for Spring and Our Wonderful Friends and Family

We are both very glad that spring is finally here and winter is, we hope, over. Of course, in Colorado anything can happen (we are praying hard that it will not rain, or snow on the wedding day!) so we can't be too sure that the winter weather is really gone yet. 

Of course, the warm weather is not the only reason we like spring. Springtime also means that Joni is that much closer to graduation (only a few more weeks left!) and we are closer to our wedding day too!

Thankfully, most of the planning process is done (and if you're reading this you probably already have you invitation in hand). So many of our friends and family members have stepped forward to help us this year and we are incredibly thankful for all of the helping hands, advice, and company. We couldn't have done all this without you!

Now that we are nearing the home stretch we only have one more detail that needs to be sorted out...
We both love music, so much so that we can't decide what to play during the reception!

January Update

Slowly, but surely we are getting closer to our wedding day!

Unfortunately, we do have some sad news. Joni's family dog passed away on the 23rd after a wonderful 14 years. He was a good dog and he will be sorely missed.

On a happier note, Joni passed her recital boards and is now elligable to graduate in the spring!

We are starting this blog so that we can keep our friends and family up to date as we plan our wedding and start our lives together.

As of right now we are still very much in the planning stages and don't have a whole lot of things nailed down, so don't make any plans that you can't change until you hear from us ;-)
